Replace hoses before they fail
A burst washing-machine inlet hose is one of the most common causes of household water damage, and rubber hoses degrade quietly from the inside. Braided stainless hoses cost a few dollars more and remove the risk almost entirely. If your hoses are more than five years old, replace them — it is the cheapest insurance in the laundry room.

Dryer cords are the classic mismatch: three-prong and four-prong outlets are not interchangeable, and the cord is almost never included with the dryer. Photograph the outlet behind your machine, note the model number, and we will match the part correctly the first time.

Do I need a three-prong or four-prong dryer cord?
It depends on your wall outlet, not the dryer. Homes wired after the mid-1990s generally use four-prong. Send us a photo of the outlet if you are unsure.
